Cars in German Town Discovered Marked with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Officers reported they were alerted by a man who found a automobile in Hanau marked with reddish liquid

Roughly fifty automobiles have been covered with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the German municipality of Hanau close to Frankfurt, according to police.

Automobiles, building surfaces and postal boxes were vandalized, sometimes with swastikas, they reported in a statement.

Officers state they were notified in the late hours on Wednesday night, when a individual noticed that a vehicle in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been marked with a reddish fluid.

The liquid had been drawn in the shape of a banned symbol, they stated.

Police then discovered multiple other smeared automobiles and building exteriors in the surrounding area.

Swastikas are illegal in Germany under regulations prohibiting the public exhibition of symbols from the Nazi era.

Officials state initial examinations suggest the liquid was most likely human blood.

"There is still no indication as to its origin; officials are presently not aware of any harm in relation with the occurrence," they added.

Municipal representatives announced they were attempting "to solve the incident" and have requested to the community for tips.

A senior official commented the attack left him stunned and required to be resolved quickly.

"This incident hits the center of Hanau and revives the wounds of the right-wing attack half a decade ago," he wrote on social media, recalling the murder of nine people by a assailant aiming at individuals of foreign heritage in 2020.
