The company said the updated approach better aligns with comparable marketplaces. They have suggested members to examine their items and manually change the size if necessary, causing user dissatisfaction. Size Classification Updates Previously, the sizing featured numerical and alphabetical indicators, for instance S/8 or M/10. The revised method features an alphabetical indicator and numerical range such as S/UK 8-10. In some cases, the measurements have been reclassified - such as a large size was formerly size 12 but now shows as UK 16-18. Shopper Accounts Frankie Bridger, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling". "Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates. Another user, from Glasgow, said garments she listed featuring size 14 markings were appearing on the platform as larger sizing 20-22. "Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they're going to be very disappointed," she explained. Manual Updates Charlotte Lunn, from Derby, said she had been left angered due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizing for "all her products". "Personally, this is quite irritating, as I'm chronically ill and platform income has been essential after experiencing income reduction," she explained. Platform Context The app has more than 100 million users, with 18 million British users. It has emerged as a preferred choice compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
